Esting

This week I have been mostly doing an esting for the competition for the entertainment channel E4. Heres some screen caps from the 10 second animation and a graphic ro accompany it. The animation was done entirely in Photoshop, it started out as an experiment and actually turned out quite well considering there isnt any huge movements or actions in it. Going to spend some time just tweaking it and trying to find some sound effects to whack on it.

Nickelodeon Open Pitchs - Get That Cat

Recently I sent Nickelodeon an idea for a pilot as part of thier Open Pitch Scheme. My idea was called 'Get That Cat' and was based around the idea of a kid trying to capture his retarded cat who always unintentionaly ruins his day, Unfortunately they thought my idea was too young for their 10 / 11 year old audience and also the idea was a bit similar to an idea called 'Kid Vs Cat' which is airing on Disney at the moment. But they really liked my artwork and the head of developemnt said that she was a fan of my style and artwork so thats all good.

Appleeggcarrot

A few little illustrations all framed up for my mum for her birthday, she asked me for some foody type illustrations that she could whack up on her wall in her kitchen.

Psych - Racer Development

A bit more visual developement on my Psych - Racer idea, went old school comic style with this one and did it in pen and ink and then scanned it rather than working straight into illustrator.

DIE, KITTY DIE!!!!!

An idea for an short animation I had about a kid who is given a kitten one birthday and it grows into a horrible, lazy, shitbag of a cat and he ends up trying to kill it but it always evades capture, a bit like wile e. coyote and road runner. It needs a bit more developing and Ill whack some more stuff up once its done. I'm not going to lie.....I hate cats.

Psych - Racer

Design about a 60's zombie racing car driver, need to develop it a bit more but watch this space for more psychadelicary. Dig It!

Lomo Japan

Took a Lomo Action Sampler (camera with four lenses) with me on my trip to Japan, Heres a small selection of my favourites from the 6 films that I reeled off other than the 1000 pictures I took on my digital camera, Theres somthing so much nicer abouth these pictures than my digital ones.

Crazy Japanese Businessman

The first of probably many Japan related arts coming out of this corner after my small jaunt in the land of the rising sun. I was eating in a bar in Ueno Market in Tokyo and across the room from me was this bloke and four others laughing and smoking in the corner, I may have embellished on the rising sun on his eye patch and his teeth but he did look like this. Honest. The japanese in the corner means '...please give my regards too...' a small nod to the random bits of english you find everywhere and out of context in japan.

Japanland

The past two weeks I went on a mintiure adventure to Japan. It's the most amazing place Ive ever been, These pictures were taken out and about in Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka. If you have the money you should go. You won't regret it.
